In 2018, a highly enthusiastic and inquisitive individual joined our BNR team, becoming the sole candidate to successfully clear the selection process in their first year of undergrad. From the beginning, I was struck by his proactive nature, eagerly taking on additional tasks while still fulfilling all their responsibilities with remarkable punctuality.
Avinash’s unwavering optimism and perseverance served as a tremendous source of motivation for the entire team, and their dedication played a pivotal role in our BNR team's victory in the Sales Competition at the BAJA SAE India 2019 competition.
Moreover, working alongside another senior member of the team, he achieved the impressive Runners Up position in the GoGreen Competition at the same event. What makes this achievement even more commendable is that, despite being a Mechanical Engineering graduate, he took on the challenge of working with a senior Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department. With remarkable determination and under the guidance of Prof. Hari Prasad, they successfully designed and prototyped an entirely new Ceria-based catalytic converter.
